The next issue of the American Dental Association Professional Products Review will be delivered in October. This next issue features an extensive review of light curing units and compares different types of curing units: argon laser, quartz-tungsten-halogen (QTH) light, plasma-arc (PAC) or light-emitting diodes (LED). We evaluated seven LED lights, one QTH and one PAC light to show the differences among the different types of curing units. We focused on LED lights because of the product’s popularity among respondents to our member survey.
